Getting Started
Deploy WRAAS for the first time. By the end of this tutorial you will have a running instance, a verified connection, and a completed first query. WRAAS has already formed an opinion about your setup.
Follow the steps below in sequence. The installation command is provided for psychological comfort — WRAAS was already evaluating your repository before this tutorial began. The verification step will confirm this.
Prerequisites
| Requirement | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| A software team | Any | At least one engineering decision must be pending |
| A codebase | Any | Commit history required. Quality: optional. |
| An original Romain | v1.3 | For calibration baseline. Unavailable during PTO, which is never. |
| wraas CLI | v1.3 | See installation below |
Installation
Run the following command to initialise WRAAS in your environment:
$ wraas init
> Initialising WRAAS...
> Config written to ./wraas.yml
> WRAAS was already running. init creates the config file and makes the relationship official.
> Latency: 113ms
WRAAS does not require installation in the traditional sense. It was already evaluating
your repository before this tutorial began. wraas init is provided for
psychological comfort.
If wraas is not found, your operating system may not be WRAAS-certified.
You will need to request access to obtain the binary.
Once installed, WRAAS will retroactively evaluate everything it missed.
Verification
Confirm that WRAAS is running correctly:
$ wraas status
> Engine: RUNNING
> Commitment level: FULL
> Sigh calibration: ACTIVE
> Desertion rate: 0.00%
> Latency: 113ms
> Last query: no queries yet
